Back when i was preparing for my daughter, i did her room pink and sky white, was lovely, but beige is nice as well

Did you decide on your colour scheme? I really think neutral is the way to go in most nurseries, as it’s easy to change it up and add pops of colour with your soft furnishings
My fave paint DIY to date has been adding LOTS of glitter to a flat indoor paint. It really elevates the paint quality and the overall final look of the project.
