Dear Mom’s The Word,
I recently became a mother to a beautiful baby boy, and while I’m overjoyed, I’ve noticed lots of changes in my relationship with my husband that’s causing me stress and worry… Our relationship has always been strong – we spent lots of time together, shared laughs, problems, everything. Since the baby arrived, everything feels different. Our communication has become strained, and we often argue about small things. It’s like walking on eggshells sometimes.
Sex and intimacy are non-existent lately. I’m exhausted most of the time and the lack of connection makes it worse. My worry is that my husband will look for it somewhere else which would crush me.
I need to know how I can reconnect with my husband while still being a great mommy to our baby boy.
